Healing Anxiety for Christian Moms | Trust in God, Mindset, Biblical Encouragement, Chronic Stress, Intrusive Thoughts

Are you exhausted from struggling with overwhelm and anxiety? Ready to trade the overthinking and chronic stress of survival mode for lasting change? Do you have the desire to grow and heal with the Lord so you can show up more present, connected (and whole) for all that truly matters?

I’m SO glad that you’re here friend.

This podcast is here to encourage and equip you with faith based tools and disciplines to pursue healing and wholeness in Jesus (I’m walking this out alongside you) to not only feel more calm and confident in handling life’s challenges —but so you can fully steward and live out the life He has called you to (all of it). For His glory.

I’m Hannah— Jesus follower, wife, and mom. After trying to control anxiety for years, I was able to finally find so much healing. Reaching a whole new level of surrender after my second child was born allowed me to experience the gift of complete dependence on God, which has been key for true healing in my life.

Inviting God in during my hardest moments was without a doubt the best decision I could have ever made. He has given me more freedom in my thought life and continues to bring healing throughout all areas of my health. All of this once seemed unimaginable to me, but He can and wants to do the same for you.

If you’re ready for more peace, less anxiety, and to pursue healing and true transformation with the Lord —then be encouraged because you will begin to not only enjoy your daily life, but also step excitedly towards the hope filled future He has planned for you.

I’m so grateful you’re here. Let’s lean into the Lord, together.

-Hannah

What's your mindset when uncertainty, fear of the unknown and anxiety try to take over?Let me encourage you that you truly can change your mindset with practice because God gave you a brain with the ability to change. I've found so much freedom in this truth!
It's so empowering to know that you can cultivate a mindset that's rooted in God's truth, and in relationship with Jesus- knowing and truly trusting that God is who He says He is-
No matter what.
Today, we talk about 3 things you can do to practice this mindset, why it's so vital and I also share what God did in my life this past week that I hope encourages you as well.
You are not stuck with your same thoughts or alone in this. You really can renew your mind to God's word with practice and it is SO worth it. I've struggled with anxiety and OCD and still do at times, but because of Jesus, I've come a really long way friend and if I can, then so can you.
The Bible says nothing is impossible for God. Lean in to trusting who He is, putting these 3 actions into place and watch what the Lord does in your mind, heart and entire life.
So grateful you're here,
Hannah

Are you worrying about the same anxious thoughts and find it really tough to stop the overthinking? Trying to control future scenarios only steals our peace and present moment, instead of actually fixing things.
I've known this well and if you're like me, it leads to feeling exhausted, frustrated and burnt out. To say the least.
If you're feeling weary, I hope you'll listen to this episode where I share:
- why learning to trust God's character is vital
- how it helps anxiety, stress, the "what if's"
- what you can begin to do right now, so you can live more present and peaceful (more to come in part 2)
love,
hannah

Today's episode will encourage your heart if you're weary and burdened—especially from shame. And if you're stuck in painful, negative patterns of not allowing yourself the compassion and self-forgiveness you need to move forward, I really hope this will bring you relief and hope.
-I share my own story of a shame spiral and coming out the other side of it
-What I'm learning from a brain surgeon who blends faith and neuroscience
-How taking every thought captive has made a significant difference in my life and why we cannot take this command lightly
-Ways you can begin to move forward and why neuroscience and our Christian faith provide unbelievable hope
Dr. Lee Warren says change your brain by changing your mind, and it all begins with your thoughts. You have God-given agency and authority through Christ. What's more empowering than this? Let's go!
I hope you're as motivated and encouraged by this as I am, thanks so much for being here.
with so much gratitude,

One of the most exciting things I've learned in recent years is that we are not stuck with the brain or thoughts that we currently have.
Actually I just heard a neurosurgeon, Dr. Lee Warren say 80% of our thoughts every day aren't even true. Wow.
There is true relief in challenging your thoughts and God has given us the agency to evaluate our thoughts about what's actually true and to rewire our brain with new thoughts — and I love that this idea of neuroplasticity is what the Bible has said is true all along.
You can choose to renew your mind by being in God's word and by choosing to take every thought captive.
This has been SO empowering, and my life is so different now because of it.
I'm still on this journey, but I'm in awe of what God has already done through my obedience (not perfection) to surrender to Him (every lie and fear) as I continually practice taking them captive in Jesus name.
And I know this isn't easy but it isn't easy to stay stuck either. I'd rather choose the path that will get me somewhere good. And that's walking in more freedom in Christ.
I know what it's like to battle with intrusive thought OCD, and definitely negative thoughts and beliefs that have held me back for years.
But now, I'm realizing how much freedom there is in this journey of surrendering it all to God — and once you do, fear begins to lose it's grip and you begin to experience hope and healing as you keep showing up, even when its hard.
God is and always will be faithful to see you through it when you seek Him.
Love you friend,
Hannah

If you're feeling the weight of overwhelm right now, I hope you'll take what you learn from this episode and put it into practice.
It's a quick practice that in time will create a big shift in your life—in the way you feel about yourself and how you show up in hard moments.
It brings you right to the Lord, reminding you of what matters most.
And motherhood and all of life is a blessing, but that doesn't mean it isn't heavy at times, so I hope my vulnerable moments help you remember that we are in this together friend!
God has given us so much that is within our control, as far as how we choose to react and respond to the demands of motherhood and life. Let's do what we can, knowing and trusting that He will always meet us right where we are, ready to help in His great grace for us. Even in the messiest moments of anxiety.
Love,
Hannah

Are you wanting to grow in your relationship with Jesus, to know and trust Him more but you keep feeling stuck, stagnant, inconsistent—or maybe just unsure of where to start?
When I first started a quiet time with the Lord I was excited but also had a lot of questions, so I definitely get it.
Now, my morning routine is my priority and I'm just going to tell you that it's what helps my anxiety the most.
I'm proud to say my ADHD brain has made these 4 rhythms a consistent part of my life, and I had NO idea just how different my walk with the Lord would become once I really prioritized my time and relationship with Him.
This is not about doing anything perfectly.
It's about the posture of our hearts being centered on Jesus. The only one who is perfect and able to transform us by His word.
Commit to 5 minutes if you need somewhere to start, but just do it. Jesus loves you more than you know, and He wants you to come to Him just as you are.
I hope this encourages and blesses you.
Love you,
Hannah
