Healing Anxiety for Christian Moms | Overwhelm, Calm, Biblical Encouragement, Mindset, Chronic Stress

Are you exhausted from struggling with overwhelm and anxiety? Ready to trade the overthinking and chronic stress of survival mode for lasting change? Do you have the desire to grow and heal with the Lord so you can show up more present, connected (and whole) for all that truly matters?

I’m SO glad that you’re here friend.

This podcast is here to encourage and equip you with faith based tools and disciplines to pursue healing and wholeness in Jesus (I’m walking this out alongside you) to not only feel more calm and confident in handling life’s challenges —but so you can fully steward and live out the life He has called you to (all of it). For His glory.

I’m Hannah— Jesus follower, wife, and mom. After trying to control anxiety for years, I was able to finally find so much healing. Reaching a whole new level of surrender after my second child was born allowed me to experience the gift of complete dependence on God, which has been key for true healing in my life.

Inviting God in during my hardest moments was without a doubt the best decision I could have ever made. He has given me more freedom in my thought life and continues to bring healing throughout all areas of my health. All of this once seemed unimaginable to me, but He can and wants to do the same for you.

If you’re ready for more peace, less anxiety, and to pursue healing and true transformation with the Lord —then be encouraged because you will begin to not only enjoy your daily life, but also step excitedly towards the hope filled future He has planned for you.

I’m so grateful you’re here. Let’s lean into the Lord, together.

-Hannah

Do you feel overburdened mentally and physically with a list of to-dos that all feels urgent, a packed schedule, and so many worries that you just wish you could lay down? You're carrying more than you're meant to, and there is rest for you.
If you're like me, you really want a life with more peace, purpose, and margin—choosing intentionally instead of taking on what's not for you.
In this episode I share:
- Why we should remember life is fleeting
- The importance of an eternal mindset
- How to shift your focus from overwhelm to what truly matters
- How to self-assess right now, if you're living like you really want to (and what to do about it)
- Ways to help you implement and live intentionally with more joy and trust in God
- A reminder of the power of gratitude

Stop the cycle of overwhelm and anxiety with God's perspective, and re-orient right now. Love you and thanks for being here. I pray this encourages you today!

One of the most exciting things I've learned in recent years is that we are not stuck with the brain or thoughts that we currently have.
Actually I just heard a neurosurgeon, Dr. Lee Warren say 80% of our thoughts every day aren't even true. Wow.
There is true relief in challenging your thoughts and God has given us the agency to evaluate our thoughts about what's actually true and to rewire our brain with new thoughts — and I love that this idea of neuroplasticity is what the Bible has said is true all along.
You can choose to renew your mind by being in God's word and by choosing to take every thought captive.
This has been SO empowering, and my life is so different now because of it.
I'm still on this journey, but I'm in awe of what God has already done through my obedience (not perfection) to surrender to Him (every lie and fear) as I continually practice taking them captive in Jesus name.
And I know this isn't easy but it isn't easy to stay stuck either. I'd rather choose the path that will get me somewhere good. And that's walking in more freedom in Christ.
I know what it's like to battle with intrusive thought OCD, and definitely negative thoughts and beliefs that have held me back for years.
But now, I'm realizing how much freedom there is in this journey of surrendering it all to God — and once you do, fear begins to lose it's grip and you begin to experience hope and healing as you keep showing up, even when its hard.
God is and always will be faithful to see you through it when you seek Him.
Love you friend,
Hannah

If you're feeling the weight of overwhelm right now, I hope you'll take what you learn from this episode and put it into practice.
It's a quick practice that in time will create a big shift in your life—in the way you feel about yourself and how you show up in hard moments.
It brings you right to the Lord, reminding you of what matters most.
And motherhood and all of life is a blessing, but that doesn't mean it isn't heavy at times, so I hope my vulnerable moments help you remember that we are in this together friend!
God has given us so much that is within our control, as far as how we choose to react and respond to the demands of motherhood and life. Let's do what we can, knowing and trusting that He will always meet us right where we are, ready to help in His great grace for us. Even in the messiest moments of anxiety.
Love,
Hannah

Are you wanting to grow in your relationship with Jesus, to know and trust Him more but you keep feeling stuck, stagnant, inconsistent—or maybe just unsure of where to start?
When I first started a quiet time with the Lord I was excited but also had a lot of questions, so I definitely get it.
Now, my morning routine is my priority and I'm just going to tell you that it's what helps my anxiety the most.
I'm proud to say my ADHD brain has made these 4 rhythms a consistent part of my life, and I had NO idea just how different my walk with the Lord would become once I really prioritized my time and relationship with Him.
This is not about doing anything perfectly.
It's about the posture of our hearts being centered on Jesus. The only one who is perfect and able to transform us by His word.
Commit to 5 minutes if you need somewhere to start, but just do it. Jesus loves you more than you know, and He wants you to come to Him just as you are.
I hope this encourages and blesses you.
Love you,
Hannah

I'm so passionate about healing anxiety and moving towards a greater level of freedom because this life is not a practice round. It's short.
I want you to know I'm still on this healing journey too, but I'm not where I used to be.
And I'm so excited to GET to share with you, what's helped me on my path towards wholeness and transformation, and a lot less anxiety.
In this episode, I explain my heart behind the new title, and I hope you'll listen in for what you can look forward to and why it's SO important.
I talk all about the reasons why you'll want to say yes to growing in your faith, and to the journey of healing and wholeness—why it's going to be worth it no matter what, and all the ways that you GET to walk with the Lord through it.
I'm so grateful that you're here.
Love you,
Hannah

Feeling like you're stuck in the messy middle of a hard season can make looking up with intentionality really difficult to say the least. Especially when you're suffering.
We need community to remind us that we're not alone, reigniting hope, and to speak God's truth over us and our situations.
I hope this short message does that for you today friend because nothing lasts forever.
And I pray that you feel encouraged to really press into the Lord in the middle of it all, trusting that He is not only faithful to get you through it, but to change your heart (and life) as you grow in dependence on Him through surrendering your suffering.
I'm so grateful that you're here,
Hannah

I had another moment this week, just this Monday, of going from striving to surrender. And although it's painful in the moment, there is so much peace that comes once we finally surrender.
I hope that my story resonates and encourages you to do the same, reminding you that we have a faithful father who is fully for us and more than worthy of all our trust.
I also hope you can laugh a bit with me, because if you don't laugh you'll cry (I like to remind myself) and both are not only ok, but necessary, as I also share inside the episode.
You are so loved and not alone friend!
Thanks for being here,
Hannah

For years I just let whatever and whoever speak into my life. I unknowingly gave away all of my peace, and the result was chaos as I believed so many lies.
Once you know the truth about who you are in Christ and you begin to experience new found freedom in your thought life—you won't be the same. You will want to keep going. Now I'm determined to keep fighting to protect my mind and my peace by renewing my mind with the Lord daily. I know I have a choice every day, that it begins with me.
You have God-given agency too. We do not need to settle for lies, negative thinking or any unwanted thoughts. If this feels hard, I promise staying stuck is harder. This is worth it. I'll be working together on this with the Lord until heaven, but I am so thankful for how far He's brought me. And He will do the same for you friend.
In this episode, I share how you can take a quick inventory of boundaries that directly affect your thoughts daily. Never underestimate the power of even one small change today. It doesn't always happen quickly but I promise it's worth surrendering to the Lord and letting Him transform you.
Ask the Lord for help and remember it's not about perfection. There is grace for you.
He is always faithful when we seek Him and He loves you more than you know.
Thanks for being here,
Hannah

Do you know and actually believe God's truth about who you are in Christ? That in Jesus Christ, our identity is secure? The Bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, a new creation, fully loved and fully known. It's a lot easier to believe when our feelings line up, but happens when they don't?
If you've ever struggled with this like I have, then I pray this episode speaks right to your heart. I wasted a LOT of time trying to find my identity in all the wrong places for years, but God is so faithful and has redeemed and restored so much in my life—and He will do the same for you too.
I share about my struggle with this since childhood, why knowing who you are in Christ is non-negotiable, and how the choices you make today are powerful and can change your family for generations.
I'm so grateful that you're here,
Hannah
